Congress to investigate the NHTSA's handling of airbag recall

A Congressional committee will conduct hearings next week to review "the safety culture" of the NHTSA over its handling of the massive recall involving defective Takata airbags installed in nearly 8 million cars by 10 major automakers. Including Toyota, GM, Ford, Fiat-Chrysler, Mazda, BMW, Subaru, Honda, Nissan, and Mitsubishi.
