Governor, UMass urge voters to support paid sick time question

Gov. Deval L. Patrick and U.S. Rep. James P. McGovern joined UMass Memorial Healthcare Wednesday in urging voters to approve a Nov. 4 ballot question that would require employers to provide earned paid sick time to employees. "There is no evidence that it hurts jobs," Mr. Patrick told a crowd assembled in Knowles Hall at UMass Memorial Medical Center - Memorial Campus.
