Gay couples in Supreme Court marriage case prepare to file briefs

Lawyers in gay marriage ban challenges from Michigan, Kentucky, Ohio and Tennessee are expected to file briefs with the Supreme Court on Friday. The high court last month agreed to review the four cases , including one brought against Michigan by a Hazel Park lesbian couple unable to jointly adopt their children as a result of a same-sex marriage ban enacted by voters in 2004.
