Door-to-door canvassing may decide NC Senate race

North Carolina's U.S. Senate race will be remembered for the avalanche of television ads for and against Kay Hagan and Thom Tillis. Outside groups backing candidates are spending several million dollars encouraging people to vote, hiring neighbors to knock on doors and finding volunteers for phone banks.
