About a dozen area residents gathered at Alex's Restaurant in Summerville Monday for Congressman Mark Sanford's 'Pancakes and Politics' session. The stop in Summerville was one of several outreach events the First Congressional District representative had scheduled; Sanford periodically goes out into the district to invite constituents to ask questions and discuss issues.
