New London honors USS Thresher crew at memorial dedication

A New London High School Navy Junior Reserve Officer Training Corps Color Guard posts the colors during the Pledge of Allegiance at the start of the dedication ceremony for etchings by Stoimen Stoilov commemorating the loss of the submarine USS Thresher during the ceremony at the New London Public Library Saturday Nov. 29, 2014. The etchings will be incorporated into a permanent memorial to the Thresher at New London City Hall.
