East Side Access project receives $203M in federal funds

The MTA has scored $203 million in federal funds for the East Side Access project, which will connect the Long Island Rail Road to Grand Central Terminal, officials announced Saturday. The $10 billion project began construction in 2006 and is expected to open to passengers in 2022, according to the New York Post.
