Ross Ulbricht, a 29-year-old Libertarian from Austin, Texas, is currently standing trial for four counts of trafficking narcotics, money laundering, conspiracy and trafficking fraudulent documents. His website, ironically titled Silk Road, is an online black-marketplace hosted on the hidden service network Tor.
