Politico taps FitzGerald campaign as one of nation's worst

That's how Washington-based Politico assesses the Ohio gubernatorial campaign of Ed FitzGerald, a Democrat challenging Gov. John Kasich. Politico noted the high hopes of Democrats when Fitzgerald launched his campaign last year, but says he "has been crushed by scrutiny into his past - specifically, revelations that early one morning in 2012, police had found FitzGerald in a car with a woman who wasn't his wife."
