The U.S. Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives, the Duplin County Sheriff's Office and the National Shooting Sports Foundation, the trade association for the firearms industry, are each offering a $5,000 reward in the case. The reward is part of a national cooperative initiative between the National Sports Shooting Foundation and ATF in which the group matches ATF rewards in cases involving the theft of guns from federally licensed firearms retailers, officials said.
