Court: Illegal police search led to dog death

A federal appeals court in New York says Hartford police were wrong to invade a Connecticut yard before killing the family's dog. The 2nd U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals on Thursday reversed a jury verdict in favor of Hartford police and two of its officers.
