A possible future political star in North Dakota has rubbed elbows with Jeb Bush and Marco Rubio and has visions of one day starting his own version of the Tea Party. Thirteen-year-old Jed Thomas, of Fargo, had a chance to meet Rubio this month when the Florida senator came to town for a Republican fundraiser.
