Blue states no longer so friendly for Dems as election nears; rush is on to save incumbents

Desperate Democrats are scrambling to save vulnerable House incumbents, even in states where President Barack Obama cruised to double-digit wins in the past two presidential elections. Six days to the election, the once friendly terrain of New York, California, Obama's native state of Hawaii and his adopted state of Illinois all are posing stiff challenges to Democrats.
