American al Qaeda suspect hit with U.S. terrorism charges

A U.S. citizen accused of training with al Qaeda in Pakistan and conspiring to kill Americans appeared in federal court in New York on Thursday to face terrorism charges. Muhanad Mahmoud Al Farekh was at the brief court hearing in Brooklyn dressed in blue jail garb and sporting short brown hair and a long beard.
