U.S. Senate Committee on Indian Affairs now hearing from local representatives

A field hearing by the United States Senate Committee on Indian affairs just concluded hearing from a panel of Federal officials, and are now hearing testimony from local officials on the impacts of drugs on the Wind River Indian Reservation. The Committee called the field hearing to examine the harmful effects of dangerous drugs in Native communities and how local leaders and agencies are working to effectively address this challenge.
