Carson City will appeal order for new trial for teen slayer

Prosecutors say the state will appeal a federal judge's order to grant a new trial for a Nevada prison inmate who was a teenager when he was convicted in the 1995 shotgun death of a 63-year-old man at a Carson City gun range.
