The six candidates vying for three open seats on the City Council squared off Thursday at a Candidates Forum at the Long Beach Library, fielding questions from constituents that ranged from what the top two issues the city faces, to their stand on the construction of an off-shore liquified natural gas station, to spending and taxes increases.
