This was an obvious, blatant political lie. Not only did it turn out to be untrue in retrospect, but when the President made this statement, he knew without any shadow of a reasonable doubt that he was deliberately lying to the American People to manipulate them towards favoring the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act of 2009.
