FIO's McRaith concerned about captives, sets new timeline for modernization report

Federal Insurance Office Director Michael McRaith during an Aug. 26 meeting warned insurance regulators that captives and other specialty-purpose vehicles used by insurers might fall into a gap not yet covered by the industry's state-based regulatory system, attendees said.
