More than 8 Million Sign Up for Health Care; How Many Have Actually Paid?

The U.S. Department of Health and Human Services announced a health care enrollment total of more than 8 million people at the end of the program's first period through April 19. Twenty-eight percent, or 2.2 million of those who selected a Health Insurance Marketplace plan were young adults age 18 to 34, according to a Thursday report from the HHS.
