Las Vegas gets a $2 million bump in counterterrorism funds

The U.S. Department of Homeland Security announced Thursday that the Las Vegas urban area would receive a $3 million grant as part of the department's Urban Area Security Initiative. The grant is a $2 million bump from last year.
