Military digest: Darrell Wingert retires from active duty Army

Chief Warrant Officer 5 Darrell B. Wingert, son of Gertrude Wingert, Fort McCord, Pa., and the late Harold Wingert, on Oct. 1 retired from active duty in the U.S. Army. Having served more than 29 years in the Army and 42 years with Department of Defense, he had 16 permanent stations of duty, his last in Puerto Rico.
