Violent video games, illegal immigration and racial profiling were just some of the topics on the table as 50 students between Dublin and Pulaski Middle Schools sparred - verbally - at New River Community College to defend their respective points Monday afternoon. The debate is an annual event, pitting 25 students in the Gifted Education programs of both schools against each other in teams of three to four as they cite research and battle opinions to validate their arguments.
