Regulators say constant repairs, extra inspections have improved Palisades nuclear plant

Nuclear Regulatory Commission officials and plant executives have pointed to 2013 as a turnaround year for Palisades Nuclear Plant in Covert Township after a troubling 2011 and 2012, which saw eight unplanned shutdowns in two years.
