Lawmakers tweak juvenile-sentencing rules

In the Legislature's on-going struggle to comply with a 2012 U.S. Supreme Court ruling on juvenile sentencing, the Florida Senate voted unanimously for a bill that keeps mandatory life sentences for juveniles who commit first-degree murder, but provides for judicial sentencing reviews in some cases.
