Here are key points of the two-year state budget proposal approved Wednesday by the Indiana Senate and some differences that will need to be resolved with the House before the General Assembly's April 29 adjournment deadline: Education funding: Senate and House plans each increase K-12 funding by nearly $470 million, or 2.3 percent a year, over the budget's two years. Those plans differ in how deep funding cuts will be for many urban and rural districts with shrinking enrollments.
